1978年4月27日 熊本市出身

幼少の頃、伝統音楽から始まった音楽の旅はクラシックを経てロックバンドへ活動の変化を遂げる。2000年に「それでよかったのか？」名義にてユニバーサルミュージックよりアルバムを発売。以降数々の作品を発表するが、2004年よりCOET COCOEH[ココエ]という名のソロワーク、2006年にニューウェイブポップグループ「miu mau」に辿り着く。インディーロック、ピアノ音響、テクノポップ、ニューウェイブ、ディスコ、ハウス、エレクトロニカ、ドリームウェイブなどを斬新にミックスさせた楽曲を次々と発表。歌、作詞、作曲、トラックメイク、演奏を自ら行い、様々な表現方法で新たな旅は続いている。

座右の銘は「熱いハートと冷たい脳」。文学と珈琲、そしてUNITED NUDEを好み、高速道路ジャンクション／歩道橋鑑賞が趣味。


Japan-born Masami Takashima a.k.a. COET COCOEH(It is read as [kokoe]) releases what is electropop album [MODERN TEMPO].　She produced herself, makes the tune, plays, arranges, manipulates the electronic sound, sings, and records. The influenced music is KRAFTWERK,Clara Ward, Hercvles And Love Affair,Juana Molina, and Neil Young, etc.

She started the piano, the saxophone and the Chinese-poem recitation when it was young. She forms the rock band in one's teens, and is putting several CD albums on the market. COET COCOEH was started alone in 2004. The first album only of the piano and the song was announced in 2006.

She play as a leader of miu mau in parallel with COET COCOEH now. miu mau is experimaental funny pop by 3 girls. miu mau's CD album recorded the little hit in Japan 2008.

She is continuing a new challenge while changing.
